Bandung Jadi Tuan Rumah Sidang UNESCO Rabu, 21 Oktober 2009 | 21:01 WIB TEMPO Interaktif , BANDUNG - United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (UNESCO) menunjuk Bandung sebagai tuan rumah International Meeting Antiracism and Discrimination, 29-30 Oktober. Pertemuan pertama di Indonesia ini mengundang 200 Walikota dari puluhan negara dan 100 Walikota di Indonesia. Sidang tersebut akan menentukan sikap dan jalan keluar masalah diskriminasi dan rasis di masing-masing negara. Kepala Dinas Pariwisata dan Kebudayaan Jawa Barat Herdiwan mengatakan, ada 3 materi yang akan dibahas, yaitu kota dan warga kota menghadapi diskriminasi, kota sebagai wadah pemersatu komunitas baru dan tertinggal, serta kerjasama daerah menghadapi krisis diskriminasi.
